Community Services at Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz School Of Accountancy Universiti Utara Malaysia

The Professional Accountant Study Program (PPAk) of the Faculty of Economics, Trisakti University, conducted a Community Service Program at the Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz School of Accountancy, Universiti Utara Malaysia, on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Malaysian time. The community service activity, themed “Accounting for Startups: From Idea to Financial Statements,” was designed as a tangible contribution to help enhance the financial capabilities of students managing small and medium enterprises (SMEs). This program not only conveyed accounting concepts theoretically, but also emphasized direct application through simulations, practical exercises, and the use of digital tools. With an integrated approach between theory and real-world application, it is hoped that participants will not only understand accounting as an administrative obligation, but as a strategic tool that can support the success and sustainability of their businesses in the long term.

The Community Service Program activities carried out by the lecturers not only benefit the training participants but also the lecturers themselves. Among the benefits are the ability to communicate with the wider community and expand relationships and collaborations with the University of Northern Malaysia. This activity is a tangible manifestation of the study program’s commitment to transferring knowledge that can be directly applied to improve business management.
