PPAK Trisakti University Holds Public Lecture “From Numbers to Integrity”

Jakarta, July 5, 2025 – Accounting Education Program (PPA) Trisakti University held a Public Lecture with the theme “From Numbers to Integrity: When Professional Ethics Defines the Future of the Accounting Profession” on Saturday, July 5, 2025.

The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business of Trisakti University, Prof. Dr. Yolanda Masnita Siagian, MM, CIRR, CMA, CPM, Head of PPA Program Dr. Vinola Herawaty, Ak, M.Sc., CA, Head of S1 Accounting Program Dr. Murtanto, SE, Ak, Msi, CPIA, CCFA, as well as lecturers and students.

This public lecture presents two speakers who are competent in their fields, namely Prof. Dr. Khomsiah, Ak, CA, FCMA, CUMA She is a Lecturer at FEB Trisakti University, and Mr. Djohan Pinnarwan He is the National Executive Board & Chair of the IAPI Professional Ethics Council.

The materials presented in this public lecture were Professional Ethics of Accountants and From Numbers to Integrity: When Professional Ethics Determine the Future of the Accounting Profession.

In her speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business of Trisakti University, Prof. Dr. Yolanda Masnita Siagian, MM, CIRR, CMA, CPM, emphasized the importance of professional ethics in the accounting profession. “The role of accountants is very crucial in business and economics, especially in presenting accurate, transparent, and reliable financial information.

This public lecture is expected to be a step for PPA Trisakti University to increase the awareness and knowledge of accounting students about the importance of professional ethics in the accounting profession. Thus, they can become accountants who are professional and have integrity, and can present accurate and reliable financial information.
