The Professional Accountant Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Trisakti University held a Public Lecture Seminar with the theme “Challenge and Opportunity for Today’s Accountants: IFRS S1 and S2”.
This event was attended by Trisakti University FEB Professional Accountant Program students Batch 44 and 45 and was held for 2 days on 9 – 10 November 2024 at the Bumi Gumati Hotel and Resort.

The topic chosen is an accounting topic that is currently hotly discussed relating to the implementation of IFRS S1 and S2 which will begin to be implemented internationally as of January 1 2025 and in Indonesia only in 2026.

This event was officially opened by the Deputy Dean II of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Dr. Titik Ayati, Ak, MSi, CPIA, CGP. In his speech, he conveyed the importance of understanding the challenges and opportunities faced by accountants in the current era, as well as the readiness of the younger generation to face them.
After the opening, the event continued with an opening speech from the Head of the Accounting Professional Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Dr. Vinola Herawaty, Ak., M.Sc., CA.CSRS., CSRA who emphasized the urgency of professionalism in the world of accounting which is increasingly developing rapidly, especially regarding the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) which is the global reference in financial reports. The Head of PPAk Usakti Study Program also announced that the Professional Accountant Program has been accredited SUPERIOR from Lamemba since October 28 2024 so it is hoped that student interest in choosing PPAk FEB Trisakti University as a place for their further studies will increase.
